Small steps = Big change.

Updated: Dec 5, 2020

Is every day a struggle between an endless to-do list and a limited amount of time?

Do you ever look at your running shoes gathering dust at your front door and think ‘I don’t have the energy for a workout right now?’

Do you ever watch other people in your life exercise regularly and think ‘How on earth do they have the time?’

Do you look at yourself and think ‘I just have too much weight to lose!’

These feelings of overwhelm can trigger us into habits that are less than productive and keep us from getting things done or reaching our goals. When the day ends, we can feel a crushing sense of guilt and frustration for not having accomplished what we set out to do and often it leads us to poor eating habits.

Sounds familiar? Please don’t despair! There is a way to get rid of that nasty sense of being overwhelmed and to feel better about reaching our goals.

BREAK THINGS DOWN. ‘Success is a sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out’

A Little progress each day adds up to big results. It may be the smallest of changes such as parking further away from your destination to get more movement in, or drinking more water, cutting out one bad habit and making way for a positive one, sleeping earlier to get more rest, doing 20 minutes of exercise instead of watching the latest show on Netflix ☺.

Whatever it is, the smallest change really can make a massive impact on your health.

We are constantly in a rush to achieve our goals which inevitably makes us feel daunted and ultimately leads us to feelings of failure. CONSISTENCY is key! Don’t try to make all changes overnight.

Little by little you will get there but you have to be committed.

So, ask yourself.. is what you’re doing today getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow?

Wish you a wonderful day xx
